P a g e 5 C e l e b r a t i n g M a r r i a g e T h e N e w C a r d i n a l F u l l r e p o r t f r o m R o m e a n d W e s t m i n s t e r P a g e 2 NORTHAMPTON DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES 22 ­, 29 AUGUST 2014 JOIN US ON OUR PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES The Northampton Pilgrimage to Lourdes (under the umbrella of the Catholic Associaı, on, which includes the dioceses of Cliı, on, East Anglia, Northampton, Portsmouth, Southwark with the Briı, sh Province of Carmelites and Stonyhurst College) has over a hundred years’, experience of bringing pilgrims to Our Lady’,s shrine in the French Pyrenees. Our Lady asked St Bernadeı, e to: “,Go, tell the priests to bring people here in procession and have a Chapel built here”,. Our assisted (sick or disabled) pilgrims are at the heart of our pilgrimage to Lourdes, and we welcome anyone interested in coming to the beauı, ful shrine. The CA have an experienced team of helpers ­, nurses, doctors and non­,medical volunteers who support and care for our assisted pilgrims.
